In Memory Of

I am sad to report that the last of our Wiener dogs has passed away at the age of 14. Hannibal was born in February 2000 and passed away on September 26, 2014. Hannibal will be greatly missed by his family. He is survived by his Mom and  Dad (Karen & Ronnie) and his 2 sisters Yoda and Olive Oyl. He was preceded in death by his 2 brothers Marty J. Dog and Chip aka C. Dog.  Hannibal was found running the streets in Canyon Country, CA in the rain, he was only 7 months old. He had a biting problem,  hence the name Hannibal. We will him terribly.

RIP Little Buddy, Your brothers are waiting for you.

I'd like to share a love story with you - a love story that will never be repeated. My Harley Beth.  A little over 11 years ago this beautiful creature came bouncing into my life and forever changed me. I saw a bubbling little puppy full of life - she saw a human that was completely broken in every way a human could be broken. With her help my healing began on the ride home that day together. We bonded and anyone that has ever seen us together will tell you she brought me back to life. She taught me so much but the most important thing she taught me was how to love again.  She protected me with her life and would have given her life for me and I for her.

So now I do the hardest thing I've ever done and I will let go of this magnificent creature who brought me back to life so many years ago. You have suffered long enough - your fight is over and you won!  Run through the gates my beautiful girl and you will find everyone who has gone before who loved you so. They will take care of you until again we are together.

A friend wrote about her boy when she lost him:  I could have missed the pain but then I would have missed the dance. I'd like to use that too Stacey because my Harley and I danced together for over 11 years.

Harley Beth - my Harley Beth, Mommy loves you with all her heart.  The greatest honor in my life was being chose by God to be your Mommy.  We will meet again my beautiful beautiful little girl.

It is a Good Thing That “Love Never Dies”, otherwise we would Die When Our Loved ones Die.

Like Their Spirit, Love Is Like a Mobius Strip,, It Goes Round & Round ,and Fortunatly Comes Back To You..It Keeps Us Alive.
They Share THeir Lives with Us & and May take a Piece of Your Heart.. But They Leave Enough Behind.. So That You Can Continue.

Wether Two Legged or Four, Fuzzy,Scaley, or Only Human, They Keep Us Going. They Keep Us Loving! They Keep Us Alive.

We will Love The Ones We Love...Always.Because Love Never Dies!

P3, 12/14/11..Wiget We Love You.. We Love Them ALL!

Shania playing the motherly role with our new puppy Minimop. She was such a loving caring baby girl. My little poodle, Shania was always a heartbeat at my feet, filling an emptiness I didn't know I had. I never wanted memories, I just wanted her. I guess this poem says it all:

With heavy hearts; and a tear in our eyes
after all these years; we must say goodbye
Please understand; we've done all we could
if there was anything we could do; you know we would
I'm sitting right here; gently rub your ears
while I talk to you softly; trying to hold back the tears
The memories you gave us; we'll never forget
especially the ones; of the day we all met
One last hug; and one last kiss
you have no idea; how much you'll be missed
To look into your eyes; this one last time
you tell me it's ok; you know it's your time
Close your eyes now; and go to sleep
we'll pray to the Lord; your soul he'll keep
Go in peace now; our good friend
we'll stay right here with you; until the end
Dream of that special day and time
when we'll meet at the Bridge; and all will be fine
We'll run and play; side by side
with a soft warm feeling; deep down inside
Your memory will live on; in each one of us
you'll always be number 1; to all of us
Have a safe journey; through the night
I promise when you awake; you'll be in God's light
So with heavy hearts; and tears in our eyes
just for now my friend; we say goodbye

We had to say goodbye to our Lucie at the age of 16 /12. And then last year Harmony (who just turned 9) older sister Sierra who was only 11, and young for a Shih Tzu, out of the blue came down with a very very rare Autoimmune Disease that strikes like lightening, with no warning signs and hits only small breed female dogs and is deadly. She was in the hospital for a long time and then we got to bring her home, even though she was not out of the woods, but stable. We have a fantastic vet and he said our little Sierra was fighting so hard to live so as not to leave us. But 2 days short of 2 wks being home and so happy to be with us and us her, she took a turn for the worse. She was fighting so hard to not leave us that she went into heart failure and we had to say goodbye to her. My husband and I were absolutely devastated. Sierra and Lucie are in beautiful Urns here in our home. I am still not over the loss, and it has taken our little Harmony a long time to get over losing her sister. And she has never been an only "doggie". I could never have children so the three of them have always been "My Girls". We are not ready to get another Shih Tzu - just too soon, and our lil Harmony has now gotten what I call "The I love being the only doggie syndrome"!! lol She and I stick together like glue.

Max was Joey's best friend since he was a pup...and mine, he was always by my side.... not to mention filled with so much unconditional love, gosh I will miss him!

Jax you will always be in our hearts. You have been gone only a few days now and the kids are still looking for you. Our house is too quiet without you here. I know you had to go. You were our first family dog of almost 8 years. You will never stop being apart of us. We will see you again.

Chance you will never be forgotten. "God please hold him now that I can not. Tell him everyday I love him Forever and Always." We love you so much and you will forever be in our hearts.
